My 2010 Ford Explorer. Currently not running. The engine started making noise then quit. I’m no mechanic, but I’m guessing the timing cassette went bad. These motors are known for this. It will start and run for a few seconds but that’s all. It was running great until this happened and everything else on the vehicle works. It has brand new tires with less than 300 miles on them. I have the receipt. This might make a good vehicle for someone with mechanical expertise. Or maybe a good parts vehicle. It will need to be towed.
