I’m looking for some help finding a lost family cross-stitch sampler. It was accidently sold at a Fair Haven, Michigan (Dixie Hwy) estate sale in 1995/1996. Yes, why was it sold? I have no idea but it was only brought to my attention recently as I thought another family member had it. It is a large piece, roughly 5’ tall by 3’ wide. It was made by CH Allen in Sept 1972/1973. It may still be in the NE Macomb/SW St. Clair County, Michigan area. I would love to buy it back. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated in bringing this piece home. This photo was found of it prior to sale with a large amount of Victorian antiques most of which were bought by a B&B in the Fair Haven/Anchorville area.
